About Us
My name is Hannah and I am now the proud owner of Kirkham Pet Centre.
I was always lucky enough to have small animals growing up, I obviously wanted to be a vet then! After realising I wasn’t going to be a vet I decided to go down the slightly different route of an illustration degree.
Following injury I moved back to the coast, where I was lucky enough to meet Becky my very patient fiancee! She introduced me to dogs & she is completely to blame for our rather large family of 2 tortoises, 8 guinea pigs & 7 dogs! Since meeting Becky & developing a love for dogs, I have worked with rescues both multi animal & cat rescues.
I have also worked & continue to work in dog training, specifically agility, which has become a massive passion. Becky now works as a Dog Groomer so we really are an animal orientated family!

1-2-1 Dog Training
Due to competition season for our own dogs our popular group classes have been substituted for bespoke 1-2-1 sessions.
Using reward based training we can help your dogs issues usually in 2-3 sessions.
All learning is as fun as possible for human and dog alike!! Our mission is to help puppy parents understand and turn their pups into amazing family members you can be proud of.
We use positive reinforcement, reward based training so nothing will intimidate, scarecrow worry any pups or people coming into my classes.
Common struggles for dog owners we can help with:

- Pulling
- Teaching to Settle
- Lead Manners
- Social Skills
- Anxiety
I have run and assisted classes from the Veterinary Health Centre in St. Annes, agility classes in St Anne’s, Blackpool, obedience classes from Longridge and now Billborrow at Barton Equestrian Centre in readying young dogs for competing in agility.
I am now readying myself for becoming a trainer at Wyre agility club, run from Myerscough College, whose team have yet again qualified for Crufts 2020! I frequently compete in agility and am working my way through the grades with Kel my awesome little papillon sidekick
We are also able to offer one to one education opportunities which can deal with impulse control, lead pulling, recall training and many many more!
We are fully insured and for our individual education opportunities we offer appointment times to suit your personal convenience. Happy training and we hope to see you soon!!
